Problems uploading on Windows Vista machine.
I have a problem uploading files to my drops when I access them via either firefox or internet explorer (using windows vista, both 64 and 32 bit). When I select the files and click "drop it" it instantly shows that 98% of the file is uploaded and then it just hangs and does nothing - no information is actually transferred and the files do not upload. I can still upload one file at a time with the html uploader. I did not have this problem using the same internet connection on an old xp machine btw. Any suggestions?

Inappropriate?I'm having the same problem on an XP machine. It is occuring with larger exe files. I've got a folder full of them, and the only way I can upload them is one at a time with the html uploader. Using the regular "add file" dialog hangs after about 98% of the first one is loaded.

Inappropriate?I discovered what the problem was - on both my 32bit vista laptop and my 64bit vista desktop I was using ESET NOD32 Antivirus, latest 4.0 version. I found a few forums where some people using this program have problems uploading and downloading. I tried some suggest fixes to ESET's Web Access Protection settings and was able to upload files to both drop.io and mediafire. However, I was still experiencing transfer rate delays. I decided to completely uninstall ESET (a real shame bc I like that program) and downloaded and installed the free MS Security Essentials. This seems to have solved my problem completely.

Inappropriate?Hi Mike, et al.,
It sounds like this is a Flash issue. Can you upgrade to the latest version/build that your machine can run and see if that resolves the issue?

Thanks!

this didn't solve the problem for me...it gets to 100% but won't move on, even w updated Flash. -
Inappropriate? You are kidding right? You are answering a question I answered 3 months ago? I've so moved on.
