Trashing a SSB doesn't get rid of the prefs
I ran into this problem when I created a SSB called "muxtape" and then trashed it. Later I updated to a newer version of Fluid and decided to make another muxtape application. When I created the new SSB I named it exactly the same as the previous one. When the SSB launched it took on the old prefs and used an older version of Fluid as well as inherited all the past preferences. It confused the crap out of me for a while because I couldn't find the thumbnail plugin.

Inappropriate?hey cawlin. i'll be straight up with you... this wont change. Fluid SSBs use the standard OS X mechanisms for storing preferences. This results in the preferences being stored in a file here:
/Users/<my-user-name>/Library/Preferences/com.fluidapp.FluidInstance.<my-ssb-name>
You can always look there to delete or inspect your current preferences. Deleting this single file will remove all preferences and allow you to start fresh.
If you delete an SSB, the preferences survive and will be picked up if you create an new SSB with the same name. That's actually a very nice feature, not a bug. :0]
The only exception to what i've said is that Fluid SSBs store their Bookmarks and History in another separate location (these are not preferences, so they don't belong with the preferences). Bookmarks and History are stored here:
/Users/<my-user-name>/Library/Application Support/SSB/<my-ssb-name>/Bookmarks.plist
/Users/<my-user-name>/Library/Application Support/SSB/<my-ssb-name>/History.plist
As with the preferences, you should delete the <my-ssb-name> folder to get a totally fresh start.</my-ssb-name></my-ssb-name></my-user-name></my-ssb-name></my-user-name></my-ssb-name></my-user-name>
I’m happy

I think the correct location for Bookmarks and History is (note the extra "/Fluid" path component):
/Users/<my-user-name>/Library/Application Support/Fluid/SSB/<my-ssb-name>/* -
Inappropriate?Makes sense and I can see why it would be nice to save the prefs if you were to recreate the SSB. It is a little confusing though that when re-making a SSB with a newer version of Fluid it comes out as the older version.

Inappropriate?I may have to try this again but I believe at the time of making a muxtape SSB originally I had version 0.8.9.1 of fluid. Then I trashed my muxtape application.
Later I downloaded fluid 0.9 and created a new muxtape SSB. The new SSB (taking on the old preferences) was still at version 0.8.9.1. So I couldn't edit the URL patterns and it confused the crap out of me!
I’m confident

Inappropriate?the application version number is not part of preferences, and this def shouldn't happen, and I wonder if maybe you had so many ssbs around you might have gotten them mixed up momentarily?
I’m undecided
