same problem, cant link my foursquare account (http://foursquare.com/user/remco_k) to my twitter account (remco_k). At first both accounts were linked, however my checkins didnt get notified in twitter. I then unlinked my foursquare from within twitter (because i wanted to try to relink the accounts). However, now Foursquare tells me it cannot connect to the server, no twitter icon appears, and i cant find a way to delete my original twitter link from inside foursquare.... so, im stuck....;-(

i have succesfully linked fb & twitter accounts but nothing ever gets published to them, which kinda sucks. please tell us whats the problem? the coolest feature in fsq is the automatic sync of check-ins to fb/twitter. im using iphone app 1.5 btw.

From the iPhone app I can search friends on Twitter using my Twitter name, but I cannot link the account on the webpage, so that I could post to Twitter.

I cannot connect my Twitter Account in my foursquare account.

there have been some server issues of late, but the servers were updated last night so fingers crossed these issues will gone. Please try linking your accounts again. I have had no problems with linking either of late, if the problem continues please contact 4sq

This problem has been fixed for me. I can now post my check-ins on Twitter and Facebook. Thanks Chrysanthe and to the great Get Satisfaction service.

Where is my second foursquare account?

The glitch is more than likely that if someone on foursquare as the same username as your twitter account then, regardless of whether it is your user you still can't link it.

There is a foursquare username which is the same as my twitter username. I don't know who he is though:

I had to use IE to make my twitter account link. I coudln't use Chrome didn't work but didn't try Firefox.

Same problem. I can't delete the account that's connected to Twitter because I never got the validation message and it won't recognize my password, so I created a new account. At first I thought I might have misentered the email account, but I noticed that a whole lot of people had this problem at around the same time. Hmmm.....

Regardless of what caused it, there is an account I can't access which is attached to my Twitter account (that matches my Twitter user name):

http://foursquare.com/user/BilGalacti...

and an account I can access and have been using, but that I can't attach to Twitter:

http://foursquare.com/user/-352533

Could a 4[] person either merge these or eliminate the original so I can attach to my Twitter account?
