Nice multi touch demo app for windows 7
By adding support for multi touch (zooming) and enlarging some controls (filter check lists) this app could be a really nice demo app for windows 7 touch capabilities

Inappropriate?This would be a nice feature, be sure to make it compatible with TouchLib. Its the open source version of Multitouch and many custom solutions involving Multitouch interface are developed to work with it. (That is for those of us who don't have access to surface ;-) )

Inappropriate?I've actually already been using Pivot as a Windows 7 multi-touch demo. The pinch zoomimg already works quite well. I agree the controls could be larger and more touch-friendly in some cases, but it depends on the size screen you're using. I happen to be playing with a 42" screen, so it's not bad. :)

Cool! :) -
Great. Could you please share a little on how you achieved this?
Many thanks,

@Christmain
I didn't do anything special. Just loaded up Pivot on a multi-touch enabled install of Windows 7 connected to our 42" NextWindow screen. -
Inappropriate?The question is, does Pivot have embedded support for multitouch gestures. It may be touch capable but is it multitouch. Love to know!
I’m confident

It doesn't have any touch-specific support, no. But the standard windows 7 touch manipulations work fine. That means you can scroll, pan, and zoom (using pinch-zoom). Windows will translate the pinch-zoom gesture into a zoom command for any app.
I would love to see more advanced touch support for Pivot at some point, but it's not in there yet. -
Yeah, what he said. :) -
Inappropriate?I have been using Pivot on a multi touch system for a bit as well and the pan / zoom works quite well, however it would be 100x better to have a touch specific skin that would enlarge some of the harder to hit buttons.
