Math Bug with Levels
On his previous run, a friend of mine, who was on the orange level, was told he had less than one mile to go to reach the next level, which is green. His mileage was 153.41 miles.
On his next run, he ran 1.75 miles, but did not reach the green level. His current mileage is 155.16, which is 249.71 miles. The documentation says orange ends at 249, which is why we assume he got the "You have less than one mile to go" message. However, while he passed 249, he didn't quite make it to 250 KM, which is where the green level begins.
You should change your "You have less than X miles to reach the next level " message to calculate using the start range of the next level, NOT the end range of the current level. And update the documentation accordingly to use two significant digits, since runs are recorded to two significant digits.
