Please Fix the LOGIN
Login interface is buggy, cumbersome and annoying. 1) NEVER remembers login information 2) Very slow interface 3) Cannot 'Tab' to insert login and password - and clicking in the boxes does not consistently result in an active cursor. In short - it is unecessary and very annoying to have to click on the login button, and then click on the login box multiple times before being able to enter the login informaiton ... change this procedure!

Inappropriate? It also prompts for password when you change screens, i.e. going from runs to challenges etc. Doesn't remember password.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?now it remembers my email login, but not password, even my bank account is not this secure. The site is choppy at best anyways, so I dont use it much.
-
Inappropriate?I've experienced the same here.
You might try as a work-around opening the new site with 'compatibility mode' setting of IE8. This sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. If it doesn't close IE8 completely, restart and try again with comp. mode still active for this site. That always works for me. Good luck.
I’m concerned

Inappropriate? One workaround I've found. When you have trouble logging into the new Nike+ site, click onto the Nike store, and log in using that site (e.g. click "check order status" and login that way) - then go back to the new Nike+ site, and you'll find you're logged in for that session, courtesy of their single sign on service.
-
This workaround worked. But what a PITA. I can't understand why two days ago, for no apparent reason, I suddenly began having issues with logging on... did the site go through an upgrade? -
Same with Safari, I wonder why Nike if is teaming up with Apple, doesn't provide a smooth interface as other apple SW and websites always do. Shame on the programers. -
The same with Chrome & IE, so that covers ALL browsers! (except Opera - anyone using Opera want to chime in) -
Inappropriate?Working with this website is a frustrating exercise. Nothing works intuitively. I have a constant feeling that I have to search for the buttons or options that I want. Nike should go back to the old site and air thisone after it has been thoroughly redesigned.
I’m frustated
-
Inappropriate? This sucks - Give me back my version that worked - remembered me and popped right up everytime I connected my nano to download runs Please!! It was great. Now I cannot even get the site to load
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? When I log in evrytime I jsu get a screen with the little circle going round and round. I need to stop it and refresh to get in.
-
Inappropriate?Sometimes it just sits there logging in without getting anywhere. Probably 1 out of 3 times I login. That's on different computers at different places. Must be a common problem.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? After fllling in my login and password, the site keeps asking my SCREENNAME. No matter what I fill in, it keeps asking... And because of that, I can't see my runs anymore!!! it really sucks.....
I’m annoyed
-
Inappropriate?@pim.vermeij: "After fllling in my login and password, the site keeps asking my SCREENNAME. No matter what I fill in, it keeps asking... And because of that, I can't see my runs anymore!!! "
I have the exact same problem, why did you take away the old (working!) site, now Iøm stuck with nothing!
-
Sign in through the Nike store using your user name and pw. It's a work-around... kind of a pain in the butt... but it will at least get you to your runs. -
Inappropriate? You can log into the old site still: http://nikerunning.nike.com/nikeplus/... That new site sucks
I’m frustrated
-
THANKYOU. I'm free of the new site! -
Unfortunately, the link to the older (better) version no longer seems to work. -
Not working anymore :( -
Inappropriate?I would use the Nike+ website a lot more often if it wasn't such a pain to log into!!!!
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate?none of this works for me i am a new user just bought this thing and it doesn't work!!1
-
Inappropriate? It is very slow and I don't like that this new site doesn't remember my password.
-
Inappropriate?I share most of the complaints on this thread and as many are 6 months old it is inexcusable that nothing has been done by the web master.
I’m disappointed and angry
-
Inappropriate?I really liked the idea of Nike+, but I just can't even gather the energy to try to use it anymore. I hope they fix all of these problems sooner than later. I wish APPLE was running the site instead of NIKE. NIKE doesn't know websites.
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate?here here brokenglass!! whats gets my back up is thes numerous problems wi nike+ n we dont even get a reply from nike apologising for problem, never mind fixing it!!some o which a the most basic o computing problems to solve!! get me a job at nike, the do less than council!! wee poor nike!!!
I’m befuddled
-
Inappropriate?sort of solution: if you connect your nike+ to your computer and press 'visit nike+', you go to the nike+ site, I close the screenname popupwindow, and than press 'create an account'. I'm in my runs!
-
I never have this problem. I never get a popup, just a login section below right which is prepopulated with my email address. I type in password and I'm in... slowly. This is on firefox 3.5/Windows -
Inappropriate?it's BETA! :-)
They should say that on the box when you buy the Nike+ hardware.....
I’m vexed
-
It's not beta anymore when they take the old site offline... -

Inappropriate?Just logged my first run yesterday. Now i can't login (says my account doesn't exist). The site is cumbersome, distracting, and nothing more than a ploy to buy Nike products. What a disappointment. Without a decent interface to mine my data, this product is worthless to me and I will be returning it.
I’m Angry

Inappropriate? This is another example of the folly of using Flash when plain vanilla HTML would do a much better job. You can just imagine how this went during the demo phase: suits from marketing sitting looking at the slick features, focusing on things like choosing the colors rather than thinking about how annoying it would be for thousands of users every day to have to log in at every access.
Between messing up this basic, basic thing and the absence of obvious features like having the Coach function actually prompt you during the run (who would have thought it would do anything else?), Nike doesn't seem to be putting much effort into this product. -
Inappropriate? The worst thing is, they're driving customers away with this, and they have not even replied to indicate they understand it is a problem!!!
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate? As on 1 January, I will no longer use my Nike+.
-
Inappropriate?I received a Garmin GPS watch for Christmas and have discontinued using Nike+ to log and review my runs. The Garmin site is much more user friendly, provides more in-depth feedback, and uploads wirelessly to my computer. I'm sad to see that Nike refuses to fix the website issues. I logged over 1500 miles on my profile and loved uploading and reviewing my runs on the old site, however, I do not have the time or patience to deal with all of the issues I have experienced (login issues, runs not uploading, etc.).
I’m disappointed
-
Inappropriate?Yes, it's very frustating not being able to log in. I have no clue if my runs are uploading correctly and can't check on my training program or my challenges.
I’m very disappointed!
-
Inappropriate? The new year enhancements seem to have made the site run slower than me!
-
its slower than me, too....i just started the walk/run program and liked it for a week....then i lost all my runs....i noticed it tried to show miles instead of km....come on...i just bought a nice new pair of hot pink nikeid shoes and i am about ready to send them back (to china)....fix it -
Inappropriate? It has been slow for months but is even slower with the new year. I don't know what changed but what used to be a fun activity has turned into a "want to punch the computer" activity.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Dropped Nike+ in favor of the Garmin 405. Use DailyMile to track my progress...they will soon has sync capability with Garmin Connect as well. See you Nike+, too bad you couldn't innovate on such a great product.
I’m perturbed!
-
Inappropriate?I'm new and was so excited...so I start in iTunes and the Nike+ login won't work so my data can't load into Nike+....even though I have a user name and password that works when Iog into Nike+. Ugh! Great ideas going on here...if it can be executed!
I’m disappointed
-
Inappropriate? It's just ridiculously slow, especially on a Mac regardless of the browser. How frustrating!
I’m pissed off and annoyed.
-
I'm running Firefox 3.0.17 on a MacBook and don't seem to be having problems anymore. There for a bit, the only way I could get to my runs was by logging into the Nike store, then back-dooring into my runs. That's no longer the case. The site does remember my e-mail address. I still have to type in my pw, though. -
I've noticed that Chrome seems to be somewhat faster in terms of logging in, but Safari fails half the same and takes several minutes the other half. In neither browser does it remember my login info. I love the new features, but they shouldn't have launched if it wasn't ready for primetime, especially something as fundamental as the site loading times and login screen. -

Inappropriate?Certainly disappointed from a new user perspective, to come and view that this is a continuing problem for some months - not a great selling point for the future
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Graphically the new website is far better but the login issues, lost runs during synchronization (I lost a 8k run) makes me hate it...
R/GA you won an award with the previous one... but you're not gonna win another with the NikeRunning rebranding :/
