Mark me down as confused too. How do you set up a marathon training program for sooner than 28 weeks?

You can't. That is the point. Why? Who knows. Maybe they are afriad some poor soul will try and train too much and they will get sued. Regardless, it is a pretty obvious design flaw.

i started a half marathon training but the long run is on wednesdays and i prefer them on weekends. but now i cant end the program to start a new one. it tells me something like it will merge the two but the process never ends!!

I'm just trying to delete a training program and start the same one, but a week earlier, and I can't seem to do it on any Mac.

I'm just getting started running and I was hoping that the coach tool would be helpful. Unfortunately being unable to edit and the overall lack of flexibility has me really frustrated.

i don't like how if you miss a run, it doesn't shift the program. it's like you have to skip it, you can't pick up where you left off.

Agree, If they can not at least allow changing some training days around then this is a useless tool and I will be done with Nike+. It has been a month since this was first mentioned. Is anyone listening? As much as I like to keep to a schedule I can't always do it. What is wrong with resting say on Wed instead of Tuesday and moving your run to that day to accommodate whatever ... LIFE

True, it's ridiculous. Setting up "Community-powered support" without listening or improving...

so i was reading one of the old forums for the classic Nike+ site. This is for the old site...the new site for training is blah... Its still a hassle but you CAN edit your training. But you have to do it that day or the day before the run you want edit. hope that makes sense. i looked everywhere, found that out just a couple of days ago and sure enough it worked!

Yes, that is the feature we are talking about that we want with the new site.

I am very put out by this fact of not being able to use my own training program with site.

I'd like to see goals such as "I'd like to run # times in # weeks" integrated with the training programs. It should adjust the training program so that you can accomplish different goals within the training program simultaneously. For example, I set a goal to run 20 times in 4 weeks and then set up a half marathon training program. The training program set up for me does not allow me to accomplish this goal...

I am very disappointed the custom training option was removed with the new Nike+. Some of us are trying to rebuild our base and none of the programs this offers work! It's really frustrating because I had 2 programs setup to get me through the fall and winter...I want to switch to the new site, but I'm going back to the old one until this is fixed!!!
