I asked the resident expert and DeepZoomTools don't have any way to parse multi-page TIFFs. By default, only the first page will be processed.

Depending on the scenario, you might wish to treat each page as a separate item, or possibly render all pages as a single, large image. In either case, the recommendation is that some other pre-process be used to first organize the content into the desired format for Pivot, in this case single page TIFFs.
