Hi John,
This is the email account you used when you set up a skitch.com account — so your name@domain.com and the password you decided to use for skitch.com
Hope that helps.

Hi osuosu,
Unfortunately there's really no way to effectively automate using Skitch, but it's on our to-do. You may consider Preview, for example in conjunction with Automator to do batch resizing etc. There are other tools around built specifically for batch jobs, that may suit your needs.
For example, here's a batch of them you may like to evaluate. (I've not tried these myself, so worth trying them out for your needs first)

Sorry about that Theok. As pointed out, you should be able to simply download the new version and drag that into your Applications folder to solve the problem.

Good news all — it looks like we may have cracked this problem with a new code library and some detective work.
If anyone who is experiencing this problem could please contact me at my name @skitch.com then I may be able to help.
Apologies again for the inconvenience and long turnaround on this one.

Keith replied on January 15, 2010 20:36 to the question "How Do I Contact Skitch?" in plasq:
Hi Ethan,
Sorry to hear you're frustrated. You've found one of the best places to comment/share your thoughts and be heard.
Skitch is becoming it's own entity separate from plasq (the company the originally created the Skitch product) We're working to make that distinction clearer. For example, we're currently working with GetSatisfaction (the third party forum you're on now) to transition that over . Sorry about the confusion.
In the mean time, if you like you can always continue to comment here, or feel free to email me with comments and questions at my name at Skitch.com
Many thanks again for your nice words, and we're definitely working to make all this clearer very soon.

Hi Just4 Registration,
Sorry for the slow reply, because of an internal email server issue I've only recently been notified of this thread.
You should be able to force Skitch to recompile it's history file by doing the following:
(Depending on how long you've had skitch, there may only be one file)
1. Quit Skitch
2. Find, select, Zip (archive) then delete the following files
~ > Library > Preferences>
~ is your Home directory
com.skitch.skitch.history
com.plasq.skitch.history
3. Relaunch Skitch — Skitch will generate a new history file.
Let me know if that helps!

Hi BrooklynGuy,
Sorry for the slow reply, because of an internal email server issue I've only recently been notified of this thread.
Sorry it's not working for you
Skitch works fine in Snow Leopard. But we've since changed the name of those files because of some business changes.
If you had run Skitch once before on your system, if probably created these files and now is referring to them.
##
First, quit Skitch, then in addition to the two com.plasq files, also zip, then delete these files from the same location:
com.skitch.skitch.plist
and
com.skitch.skitch.history
Then copy over the 2 com.plasq files, and then finally launch Skitch.
Skitch will then generate new com.skitch files based on the com.plasq files.
Sorry again for the slow reply, hope that helps
Keith
